Within these five varieties, the two most cultivated are the hass avocado and the strong avocado. The hass stands out for its oval shape and a not very large seed, just like a fruit. Its peel changes from green to purple when ripe. On the other hand, the strong avocado is bigger. It has a soft and green peel, and its pulp is the most used.  It has lower levels of fat.

Perhaps, the most peculiar variety in terms of shape and characteristics is the cocktail avocado. The shape of this variant is similar to  a finger. It has no central bone. Its aroma and flavor stand out for the delicacy on the palate.

The remaining two varieties are characterized by the low fat content of their pulp. The bacon avocado is low in fat and does not have a very strong taste. As it has a large stone, its pulp is the least used of all the varieties, as it has less quantity.
