Watermelon has an important water content.
Watermelon is a very healthy fruit. It’s composed mainly of water, which makes it a perfect fruit for hydration in hot weather. In addition, it has a large amount of provitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E and group B vitamins that serve as antioxidants. As for the minerals, it has potassium, magnesium and a little calcium and iron. Watermelon is depurative and satiating, and perfect for slimming diets because it has few calories.
